Georgian House Tour - A mix of classic and contemporary interior design

I am still in wind down mode and I'm sure most of you are too, if your not currently sleeping off Christmas dinner, your probably away on holiday, however I wanted to quickly share this Georgian home discovered on House of Locations. Situated in London with six beautiful bedrooms and five bathrooms with far too many images to choose from, I selected a few neutral shots and some pastel ones. This home however, did feature some rich, warm colours therefore, if your thirsting for more, please visit them at the link at the end of this post.

A mix of ornate classic and contemporary lines in this fireplace. I like the idea of a mantel without columns, a similar idea of a floating mantel can be seen in the living room of Interior designer Andrew Melville's  previous home

A pop of colour by way of art, an easy way to add colour

The dark wood doors bring warmth to this neutral sitting area and work wonderfully with the two iron consoles

A country style kitchen in black and white

A pretty pastel girls room, the wall stickers add colour and interest to the pale white walls, similarly the sweet pattern on the roman blinds

what a stunning effect these over sized flowers bring to this wall - You can make your own paper flowers with easy instructions from the book, Paper to Petal: 75 Whimsical Paper Flowers to Craft by Hand

A classically styled room with a contemporary touch by way of the glass bedside lamps and subtle mauve tones. I love the additional pop of green seen in the rose cushions

A clever choice of shower curtain which appears almost mesh like, its subtle sheen brings a little softness to an area featuring strong, dark colours

After receiving my long awaited DSLR this Christmas, I am inspired by the images above and I have been busy snapping everything around me but I have so much to learn and at the moment finding out its my capabilities which are limited until I learn how to use the manual settings. In the New Year I should be more familiar and will share some images of my home.

Images above are via House of Locations. This fabulous home is available for film/photo shoots. If you want to see more images or find out more information, please visit House of Locations.

If you love browsing interiors, please visit my Interior Design Inspiration page to see lots of home tours, the page was recently re-vamped to make it easy to navigate, so enjoy!
