Winner Of The Minted Stationery Credit - Plus a peek at my bedroom

A mixed post today as I wanted to announce the winner of the US$100 Minted credit. Thank you to everyone who took time to  leave a comment either at the blog or my Facebook page.

Congratulations to the winner, Cindy, who I know is a regular reader. Please contact me as soon as possible so that I can let you know how to obtain your credit. There are many wonderful products at Minted, from stationery to art prints and I am sure you will have fun shopping Cindy.

The draw was random, each person who left a comment on 'either' the Minted post on my blog, or my Facebook Page under the 'Minted' posts, were in with a chance to win. Each name was allocated a number and I used a Random generator to select the winner. Once the number was drawn it was matched to the number allocated to that persons comment. So congratulations once again Cindy on being the lucky one.

Of course I can't publish a post without images so I have taken a few sneak shots of my bedroom. This room will be having a complete makeover within the next few months, so I guess you can say these are some of the 'before' shots. The old shutters used as a headboard will be coming down. I am buying a French style headboard and moving my bed around. I plan to put plantations shutters in each window. A beautiful new colour on the walls and replace the bedside tables. Luxurious new bedlinen will complete my makeover.  My inspiration is drawn from an earlier post. French, soft blues and greys as seen in my mood board at the end of this post.

My Inspiration for the upcoming makeover...

I have had a busy week with my blog and excited about new opportunities arising. I will be attending the New Zealand House & Garden tours tomorrow and really looking forward to seeing some fabulous Kiwi homes. We might be a small country, however we have many talented designers and home owners and I can't wait to see inside some of the fabulous Auckland homes NZ H&G have selected.

    3. Thanks Kelly for taking time to comment, I have almost finished a refinish piece for my bedroom with chalk paint which will feature on the blog next week if I can get the upholstery foam this weekend. The tour today was truly wonderful with one house in particular that was stunning.
