A Mix Of Holiday Inspiration - DIY Decor, Free Printables and More

Above: From the Craftberry Bush

As a Blogger one's mind is torn in all directions at the inspirational DIY ideas on the web. Today I want to share some holiday diy inspiration and some free printables. I have placed links to the tutorials or downloads beneath the images.

Above: Create a festive tree, these could be used as place names,  you could write a name at an angle across one side. If you then went over the letters with a fine PVA pen you could sprinkle glitter onto the name. Please hop over to Rose et Vert for the pattern and instructions for the tree

And a selection of printables....
Above: I love these quirky name tags, free to print out from Kelli Murray. Kelly also has an Etsy shop, Kelli Murray Art where you can find a range of her cards and prints.
Above: Another free printable from Lil Luna, this would look lovely framed simply as above, or you could use it to create some Christmas cards....download over at Lil Luna
Above: I first heard of  German 'glass glitter' at Miss Mustard Seed's Blog. Marian imports this beautiful glitter, available in a range of colours for so many creative ideas.

Above: Marian bought dollar shop plastic animals and gave them a glittering new life....see how over at Miss Mustard Seed
Above: The tips of these pine cones were treated with Marians glass glitter, hop over to Miss Mustard Seed to see how

Above: Create this pretty Rosemary wreath from The Pretty Blog
Above: Create this pine cone tree with easy instructions from I Fall In Chocolate
Above: DIY ornaments from Magnolia Homes. What I love about these little ornaments is that the icing is not perfect, yet to me they look much cuter than something that has been iced to perfection.
Above: I love these chocolate bark gift tags, such a clever idea don't you think! Hop over to Wilton for ingredients and how to.

I hope you have enjoyed these discoveries. Last week I shared a wonderful book called Christmas At Home, by Sandra Kaminski photographed by Geoff Hedley. This wonderful book is full of fabulous ideas for Christmas. I have been so inspired I wanted to share it with everyone and dedicated a full post. I have been emailed about where this book is available, there is a link in my previous post, however, it can be bought through Whitcoulls  stores as one reader informed me.

  1. Love all these ideas Lee, so simple too some of them.
I really need to get myself going, can't seem to get motivated this year. Not even a tree up - but then my excuse is the new puppy would chew it all LOL. Maybe this weekend i'll do a christmas craft and get the house all christmasy.

    Merry Christmas

    1. I am really late too Jane, I am meant to be doing some baking today. My decor is almost finished but I am a little behind with that to. Yes a good idea to get into the Christmas spirit this weekend and decorate your house. You will just have to hang things high so puppy won't be able to reach. Have a great Christmas.
