I spotted a coastal cottage on Apartment Therapy, it reminded me a little of my home and my own collection of blue and white china.
This coastal cottage was the former home of Blogger, Grace, of Grace Happens. In just a month, Grace and Colin transformed what was a 'do-up' into a character cottage. A mix of classic, coastal and traditional style, filled with collections of the things they love.
If you would like to read all about this transformation and see more images, please visit Apartment Therapy.

Happy New Year to you too Jane, glad to see you back on my blog :). The cottage is really lovely isn't it. It has personality and a relaxed look and for me that says it all.
DeleteHi Lee - I love how they scattered blue & white china pieces throughout the house. Timeless!

I agree Mary but I do have a penchant for blue and white and I agree it is timeless.
Deletethose glass kitchen cabinets are to die for! all that blue and white pottery reminds me of you :) I have to admit that I have started collecting ginger jars (or rather knock off ginger jars) all because of you and how amazing they look in your home! I also like the way they mix with my Mexican and Italian pottery, it gives my Fresh Mex style some world feel. Hopefully a post soon. Pinning from your post like crazy as we speak!

Hi Kelly, glad you stopped by to comment. I do feel happy that I have a little influence on my readers, so nice that you are inspired by my own collection of blue and white ginger jars. I don't feel there are rules of thumb when it comes to a specific style of china and if the blue and white mixes with the mex style then that is perfect.
DeleteI love the the look of the blue and white on the dark glass fronted display cabinets, they look gorgeous. I am continually moving my own pieces around my house and at one point I put them all in the cupboard and had only white but gradually they have crept out again, they will always be a love of mine. Can't wait to see pictures of your blend of ceramics.
