Whether your approaching winter or spring, there is no better time to give your bedroom a new look. I don't mean totally re-decorating, making simple changes to your bed linen and the way you dress your bed can give a fresh, new look to your private oasis.

Bedside Tables - Inspiration from rustic to gold

I am still in the throws of planning the re-decoration of my bedroom and have been looking at ideas for bedside tables, I have already promised to share my design board, however as I am still undecided on a lot of things, I am not quite at the stage of completing the board. On the other hand, I found lots of interesting ideas for bedside tables, some I love, some are not my style but I am sure that you will find something that may inspire you and personally, I am inspired by a little black in my room.

Guest Bedrooms - What's your style?

I'll be busy this week with brush in hand, not a new painting unfortunately, this time creating a guest bedroom. I've been running around the past few weeks looking at bed linen, paint colours and fabrics trying to decide a theme. I am creating a mood board and I guess you could say it is an eclectic mix of New England versus Ralph Lauren style. Previously the room was set up as my studio and is currently storing bits and pieces left over after I sold my mums home, however, I'm keen to turn it into an inviting guest room for visitors. I am not giving too much away at the moment, lots of ideas and images in my head but finding it hard to make decisions. Meanwhile, it never ceases to amaze me how many creative designers there are and the bedrooms below show how varied styles can be...
