Its geographically Autumn in New Zealand, however, at the moment we seem to be experiencing an "Indian summer" and to me it feels like Spring has just arrived. Even my mother's paper-whites are showing their heads, I always thought Paperwhites were a Spring bulb but stand to be corrected by my knowledgeable readers. As you know my passion is blooms, therefore, any excuse to include them in a post is a joy to me...so today is a celebration of Spring, or at least the "feeling" of Spring...
My mother bought these pretty mauve hydrangeas for me yesterday, I love them!
Spring items that caught my eye...
I adore this Orlina patchwork floral duvet cover from Anthropologie
Pretty Spring dish towel from Lisa Rupp Design
More pretty Spring linen - Rikshaw design from Layla Grayce

Yes, we have been loving this weather, especially since it's the school holidays. As we speak we have all the doors and windows thrown open, and the kids are going swimming. xxx
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful Vic, I am soaking it up taking advantage of lots of walks with Poppy along Tamaki drive in Auckland. Yesterday the sea looked so gorgeous with flickers of light from the sun.

Wow ~ you really have an eye for beauty and capturing it in each of your photos. It is such a pleasure visiting with you and perusing your posts.
ReplyDeleteKindly, Lorraine
Thank you Lorraine, I cannot take credit for the actual photography though only in the image with the hydrangeas in this post. However, I am saving hard to buy a really good SLR camera so I can take the images I want and not have to maniuplate them through an editing program.
DeleteThank you for visiting, I hope you come back again.
