Jars of Prettiness - Confectionery & Refreshments

Jars of prettiness, what a lovely way to decorate your table for a wedding, summer picnic, courtyard luncheon, or just pretty up your coffee table with treats for your guests. Love the idea of cucumber slices in spring water rather than lemon alone. A simple ribbon tied around a jar of striped straws adds such a lovely touch. I'm definitely going to put some pretty jars on my coffee table and can't wait till Summer to create a lovely table for luncheon with friends.

Collages created using Style Me Pretty, see more of my boards "here"

    1. Thanks Vic for passing by, yes I am waiting on that warm weather. I have to post for both seasons really but tend to forget I am in winter, I think all the years living overseas having wonderful summer weather every day both in Asia and the UAE, I just refuse to accept winter. I am still hanging around the house in t shirts but with the fire full blast!

  4. How lovely! Yes, everything is better with a ribbon tied around it. I think there's a song about that and a Scotsman, but it's not for polite company. However, I really am taken by the idea of cool drinks with thin slices of crisp green cucumber floating in them. That sound wonderful! Found you through Ivy and Elephants linky party.

    1. Laughing, I am not sure I know that song but do know the one "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree"...but yes everything does look so much prettier with a simple ribbon. Thank you for stopping by Rhissanna.
