Home Tour - Victorian Exterior...Surprising Interior

Once the village Rectory/Vicarage, every room is a surprise in this converted, late Victorian, early Edwardian home. Drawing elements from different periods and styles, uniting them to create an interesting interior with unexpected surprises. If you are interested to see more images, please use the link at the end of this post.

Above:  Rich, plush velvet sofas set the scene for the monochrome living area. I believe what appears to be a bookshelf on the left hand side is wallpaper

Above: An old apocatherapy cabinet forms the base of a dresser

A welcoming touch of shabby chic

The feeling of a grand manor to the formal dining room, a stunning chandelier made of antlers is the focus

Casual country style kitchen, continuing the soft greys of the living room

Casual kitchen dining with a country feel

I am actually a little unsure about the artwork on the wall whether it is 2 or three dimensional, regardless it is eye catching and works wonderfully with the chrome beds. The small bombe chest adds a pop of colour to the grey scheme

Shutters are so versatile, allowing the light and air to flow through or easy to close for privacy. The red/grey blanket and pillows add warmth to this cool, white room

The wallpaper in this bedroom brings a contemporary look this monochromatic scheme
