Kitchen Inspiration Week 2 - A Must see Kitchen

I was working on a post for this weeks kitchen inspiration on 'traditional meets contemporary', when I stumbled upon this gorgeous kitchen and decided it was worthy of a post of its own.

Immediately drawn to the central atrium and surrounding windows, I was captured by the light of this conservatory kitchen. Looking down the kitchen, ones eye is drawn to the garden beyond and I cannot think of a more captivating space for whipping up culinary delights. Although the area is large for a kitchen, the central island breaks up the expanse of space. There is a butlers sink and a second sink inset into the central island with plenty of work space and storage. The natural wood of the island and some of the cabinetry, add warmth. I imagine it may become a little hot in summer so the ceiling fans in the atrium are perfect for cooling down the chef and high enough not to detract from the gorgeous iron and glass pendant light, suspended beneath.

I don't think there is anything I would want to change about this space, if I had to be picky it would be a little less foliage, however it is conservatory after all.  And, I must say, I think the cast iron cows on the far table are divine, they are similar to some I have seen on antique weathervanes and would love one for my own kitchen.

This stunning Conservatory kitchen is by Architects & Building Designers, JLF & Associates, who specialise in unique, one off high end homes throughout the USA. Most definitely this kitchen has the wow factor and is definitely one of a kind.
