Emily initially contacted me as a Design blogger with a Houzz profile. Emily said she loved the images of my home and asked if she could write about me by way of an interview about myself and my home. I was more than happy to oblige and felt very excited about being featured on a website I was constantly visiting for inspiration. Emily chose the photos she wanted to share from one of my project books to publish alongside the story. I wanted to share some of those images on here but to read the full story and view more images, please visit the original article at Houzz, At Home with Interior Design Blogger, Lee Dewsnap.
Houzz are also giving away a $50 voucher to be redeemed at one of my favourite shops, Wallace Cotton. To be eligible for a chance of winning you need to leave a comment beneath the Houzz story (not this post). Houzz will choose the best comment on Sunday, April 12th to receive the voucher. Please have a quick look at these photos then hop on over to read Emily's interview with me (link above and below).

You have a beautiful home! Well done for the publication in Houzz, it's well deserved!
ReplyDeleteThank you Camille for your kind words. My home is still evolving, much like my blog. I am currently working on the living room. I haven't shown one part of it which has a large built in bookshelves and cupboards. I plan to put in more shelves and change the doors and handles. I may even paint the back of the cupboard dark blue or blue and white stripes, not sure yet. Plus I need a new lamp and coffee table, more in keeping with the Hamptons look I love so much.
DeleteCongratulations! Your cottage is lovely and you've done a great job there. I read your blog for a long time now and I can see the progress in your home. Well done, you truly deserve to be recognized:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Anna, yes I see you commenting on my posts and really appreciate you continuing to follow my blog and watch the process of my home. There will be a few new changes this year so hope you continue to follow and see my home updates as well as the lovely homes I feature.
DeleteYour home is lovely. Nice decor and looks nice and relaxing, like a holiday home. I have already commented on your Twitter too. Sue

Thanks Sherry, it won't be everyone's taste but I love how it is evolving. I am working on a part of the living room I haven't shown yet, it has a big built in bookcase and cupboards, I am putting in more shelving, changing the doors and handles and then deciding what colour I should paint it. Was thinking of navy at the back and an antique white, maybe doing a little bit of a paint technique on it if I can pluck up the courage. I also just bought a new lamp and some bargains from a hospice shop to complete the look beside my sofa. Ongoing decorating as I am sure you do yourself :)
