Natalee of Indah Island has been in the design industry for more than 20 years, her work has been commissioned both in Australia and internationally. Natalee's work has featured in magazines and also TV series such as Dream Homes, Ready Set Reno, Luxury Homes Revealed (one of my personal favourites) plus several more series. Natalee's style is pure Hamptons, classic with a touch of the tropics. I've previously featured one of her projects on the blog, however, as each project is unique, I thought it would be a good idea to show some different interpretations of Natalee's Hamptons style by sharing images from a few of her projects.
Above: Hamptons isn't always blue and white, mix up patterns and bring in soft shades of muted greens and beige as seen in the cushions above
Above: Mirrors can be a wonderful way of reflecting a garden and increasing a sense of space in a small area. This pair are perfect for an outdoor patio area and reflect an English conservatory look
Above: Distressing dark painted furniture will soften it rather than having a solid paint finish such as the effect on this bookcase
Above: An overhead canopy is perfect for all year round entertaining in those warmer climates. Stripes especially work well in blue and white or black and white for that Hamptons look
