Last year I thoroughly enjoyed watching the popular TV show "New Zealand's Hottest Home Baker". On the show, one of the judges was Australian Jade Lipton, known for creating "CakeStar", a highly successful boutique cake business in Brisbane. Jade's fabulous cakes are highly regarded, Mercedes Benz, Audi and Australian Fashion Week are among her high profile customers, so I'm excited that Jade's publicist has kindly given me a copy of her new book "Cake Star" for one of my lucky readers to receive.

Give-A-Way - Hookturn's Reusable BYO Coffee Cup

A while ago I saw a cool coffee cup on Cush & Nooks Facebook Page, I left a comment saying how great these cups were and Hookturn Industries, (based in Australia), who create the cups contacted me and offered me a cup as a give-a-away. Wow! my first give-a-way (I also have a wonderful book give-a-way coming up this month). 

The cups are made from silicone which has the unique property of keeping your coffee hot without you burning your hands. The cups look just like the paper disposable ones, only so much better and "of course" re-usable.
