A Moroccan House Tour

When I hear the words "Morocco", immediately it conjures up visions of ancient buildings, beautiful archways and vivid colours. Moroccan style can perfectly suit a beach house and Moroccan tiles look fabulous in a contemporary bathroom. This typical Dar (Moroccan home) is situated in the coastal town of Essaouira, the Dar's casual ambiance with pops of colour allow the architecture to become the feature rather than its furnishing, with the exception of the stunning balloon like light fitting. This unusual home has a mix of interesting Moroccan and European vintage finds, I find it a relaxed interior with a vintage feel.

I have to comment, my mother hand crocheted me a bedspread very similar, I must look for it

All images are via jj locations (the house is available for photo/film shoots)

Colourful Swedish Interior

Normally when I post a Swedish interior, they are either white with a little grey or black, however, this Scandanavian interior caught my eye when I spotted its vibrant, orange sofa. Still very much Swedish style, the traditional wood burning stove, bleached wooden floors and the clever knack for being able to organise small living areas well. However, this tiny apartment's owners have brought it to life adding a splash of colour to each living hub. I love the kitchen wallpaper and coordinating bright green rug. The lounge area has its statement orange and other areas have additions of colour such as the wicker storage baskets in the bedroom and the pretty aqua mosaic tiles in the bathroom.

Just look at the gorgeous detail in the ceiling architrave and also the top of the iron stove.

I love featuring Swedish apartments, they are always trendy and have a lovely fresh feel to them, no surprise they are famous for design.
