I have been a little short of time this week, preparing a post on upcycling/refinishing furniture took a little longer than I thought but well worth the time. If you missed this post please take a look and see Olivia's amazing furniture transformations.
This weeks inspiration is a collection of recipes, DIY ideas and my current obsession with grey which I will be discussing in a separate post.
I'm constantly browsing the Internet and magazines to look for ideas for the home and with the current economy I like to find ways of being able to DIY lovely homeware. Candles in particular are a great accessory to the home but can sometimes be expensive, however, a simple candle from a dollar shop can be turned into something special for your home.

You always find the most beautiful images. I'm crazy over that kitchen, and i'm loving gray too right now. I had some paintings at a small show this last Friday... and they walls were painted the most wonderful gray ever! It made my work look so good... gray can be such an amazing color. I wish i could show you the color of the walls, but it was dark when i took a photo...

Thank you Cindy, my recent love of grey was also seeing it at someones house. I caught up with a friend from years ago who has co-incidentally moved very nearby. They have completely renovated their older two story house and it is stunning! They have used two different greys, one down and one upstairs, they are divine and I've decided to makeover my bedroom with a light, soft relaxing grey. I would love to do the whole house in this colour but, step by step for now.
DeleteThis is a beautiful post! I love the grey interior. Thanks for sharing.
