Colour and Pattern Rule In a Beachside Apartment

I don't want people to think that I am not about colour, I do realise that most of the homes I feature tend to have a neutral palette, or feature blue and white. However, I actually love colour as long as it doesn't overpower. This gorgeous Sydney, beach-side apartment, is the perfect example of infusing colour and pattern using artwork, textiles and rugs.

Styled by Emma Blomfield from Nest Designs on behalf of The Home, the apartment exudes a contemporary, easy to live with look that makes the most of colour in a somewhat gentle way.
