Perfectly Charming Home in Balboa

I cannot praise the designers at Black Band enough, everything they touch is just so perfect, from the grandest homes to more modest projects, design and function are perfectly thought out. This project may be smaller in size, however it is certainly not small on design.

Making a home livable and beautiful is not an easy feat if you have no idea about design so I believe it is worth every penny to employ an interior designer to create the perfect abode. Don't be mistaken in feeling your home is not grand or worthy enough of a designer as many designers will say some of their best and most satisfying projects have been smaller ones, such as this lovely, Balboa, Broadway home by Black Band Design. Immediately you see the subtle palette of blue/grey on the outside, one knows this home's interior is going to be packed with charm.  

Black Band have kept the interior palette light and airy by using the same paint colour throughout, allowing uniformity and a sense of space. The crisp, white walls juxtaposed against the dark wood floors add that contemporary feel. Natural materials and textures have been blended with pattern in a palette of blue and white, a colour palette Black Band use with great success. The simple artwork above the fireplace adds a contemporary feel to this living space. I would have to say my favourite pieces of furniture are the blue painted bamboo desk in the home office and the wonderful sea grass headboard in the bedroom.
