Bolt of Cloth

I am always excited discovering new stores and products on line but the most exciting discovery about Bolt of Cloth is that they are a “home grown” New Zealand business based in Christchurch. The past year many businesses have been affected by the tragic earthquake in Christchurch and Bolt of Cloth is one such business whose premises in Madras Street became non accessible. However, Bolt of Cloth are bouncing back and preparing to open a new Bolt of Cloth store in Christchurch very different to their old one and they are excited about preparations for their new store and the current improvements to their website.

Roman blinds, curtains, cushions, wallpapers, lampshades and home decor are just some of the products Bolt of Cloth carry in their online store. I just love the gorgeous colourful fabrics and great choice of designs. Organic Fabrics, linens, outdoor fabrics, laminates/oil cloth are just some of the different materials available. In Bolt of Cloth's online store you can search easily by pattern, theme, colour, designer, price, weight or fat quarter and view all of their beautiful fabrics.

The choice of fabrics online made it difficult for me to select only a couple to post on my blog. However I have chosen some beautiful bright designer cushions and  a  Pohutakawa design that has been made up into cushions and lampshades.  For those expats the Pohutakawa design is a great way to keep some of NZ with you when your living abroad.
1. Pink Zinnia 50cm cushion cover NZ$43.95
2. Leis, Luaus and Alohas 45cm cushion cover NZ$33.95
3. Spots and Stripes 50cm cushion cover NZ$43.95
4. Frida Kahlo 50cm cushion cover NZ$39.95

Pohutakawa design Cushions NZ$43.95 each - Pohutakawa drum Lampshade, 43x43x30cm NZ$209.00

Bolt of cloth have a $5 delivery in  New Zealand and Australia. They  also deliver worldwide (prices on their website). They offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and you can obtain fabric samples before you buy. Please view their vast range at their website, www.boltofcloth.com. Please use your back browser to return to Blooming Art.

Before I finish this post, however,  I want to leave you with a photo a friend emailed me taken in her garden in Christchurch last weekend after the recent snowfall, It must seem funny to my readers in the USA and Europe seeing a photo of a recent snowfall when they are almost in their mid summer.
