This 4 storey home is located in Essaouira Morocco. An eclectic mix of furnishing from the 1960's can be found in this light, airy home.
I think I was drawn to this interior after my recent post on a "Taste of India" and the movie "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", (by the way you simply must see the movie it's delightful!). Not that this Moroccan home has anything to do with India but it does have those bright pops of colour and it's definitely in an exotic location.
Personally, what I love most about this interior is its whitewashed walls with their gentle curves and the rustic nature of its architecture, somehow it has a wonderful feeling of serenity. One can imagine feeling totally regenerated in mind body and soul after spending a week relaxing in these surroundings, snoozing the day away in that lazy hammock and soaking ones worries away at the end of the day in that huge stone bath.
