Taking An Unfortunate Break - My Mother Sadly Loosing Her Battle.

To all my dear readers and anyone new that discovers "Lee Caroline - A World of Inspiration". I'm unfortunately unable to post at the moment as sadly my mother is finally loosing her battle with cancer. As you can imagine I cannot focus properly and feel physically and emotionally drained. My beautiful mum has been fighting metastatic breast cancer for two and a half years, I hope you forgive me but PLEASE do not leave me I will be back as soon as I can and meanwhile if I have moments of being able to hold myself together I will try to post.

Thank you for your patience, thank you for your lovely comments on my posts. If you want to read a little about my mums story and how I ended up back in New Zealand, please read this post which I wrote last year on "Love".

My beautiful mother and my father the way my mum would want my readers to see her. This photo was taken when when she was 30.

Thank you for your patience. I will be back as soon as it is possible.

  1. Oh Lee, I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you. From what I've read on your blog, your mother is an amazing woman, and you have been a fantastic daughter to her. How precious your last couple of years together must've been. I'm sure it means so much to her to have your love and support in her final days. x

    1. Thank you Kirsty, I was going to take up that one place you had left for the doggie photos but then things deteriorated while mum was in the hospice for some respite for me so I didn't contact you.

your kind and encouraging words are lovely to hear.

  6. Oh my gosh, I'm sure this is so hard for you. I'm so sorry for what you're having to go through right now. I only hope your mom's transition is gentle and painless. From what I understand, you have given her so much support and care and love in these last years, and devoted much of your life to her. My thoughts will be with you, and i wouldn't leave you at all... I'll most certainly be here when you get back...

    1. Thank you Cindy for your words, mum is up and down with pain, this is the hardest thing, either she is asleep and no pain but then we cannot communicate or awake and unable to communicate because of pain. I feel now though that the pain is under more control. I have been with her all day today and just got home as she is sleeping peacefully at the moment. I will go back later. Thank you for following and remaining a follower :)

  7. Dear Lee,
I am so sorry to read about your mother. My mom is also facing some serious health issues so I can sort of understand what you are facing. You both will be in my prayers.

    1. Dear Kathy,

Thank you for your comment, I am so sorry your mum is facing serious health issues. My mum has been battling the cancer which unfortunately was undiagnosed breast cancer which had already spread to her bones. However, she has amazed the doctors surviving nearly three years longer than they had said and reaching her 86th birthday.

Mothers are more precious than we realise until something happens like this. For me it has brought my mum and I very close together, something we never had before. My thoughts are with both of you and your family. Mothers are precious.

Prayer is what I believe has kept both myself and my mother strong the past few years, I will pray for your mother and family and if you ever want to contact me, my email is on my profile.
