Swedish Style Interior - White & Bright

Sharing a white, bright, stylish apartment in Sweden.  White walls and vaulted ceilings always create an immense feeling of space and are fabulous for showing off artwork. Unlike some white interiors appearing rather clinical, the designer has added personality and warmth by adding the Persian rug with its rich colours and pattern.. The accent cushions, aged leather pouffe (footstool), and other leather furnishings balance the overall look.  Who would have thought, stacked magazines and a medley of pictures could end up a stylish corner (image 3). This lovely interior has personality and order, and for me is a winner!

Hope you all had a lovely week, praying our windy NZ weather will go away and Spring sunshine abound.

    1. Great minds think alike Lorraine :), I will pop over and take a look at your kitchen window. White is not always easy to work with, you have to have the design knowledge to be able to pull it off with furniture and accessories so that it doesn't become cold and clinical, don't you agree.

I have just painted my mums house throughout in a neutral white, its a soft white with a very subtle hint of green to it, its called "Rice Cake" and is a Resene colour. It has made her place look so much more spacious and light, I will be featuring the makeover on my blog when its completed.

    1. Isn't that velvet cushion a beautiful colour sitting on the chair in front of the striped paper. Thought this would be your style Vic.
