I have always felt that Sweden leads the way when it comes to Scandinavian style. When we think of Swedish interior design we think white and bright but this fabulous interior I am sharing today is a little "out of the box" for Swedish style. This is not just another white interior with minimalist decor, this fabulous home has twists and turns in the way of unusual architecture such as the stone, cave like walls and ceilings in two of the bedrooms. I love the occasional use of colour against the white backdrop seen in the artwork in the living area and the bold floral wallpapers used on feature walls. Each room has personality of its own adding interest and life to this fabulous home.
This is such a cool, unique home. I have a very similar wallpaper by Designers Guild in my entranceway, and it always makes me smile. x

I knew I had seen something similar to the paper above, now I remember it was your website. I have a strange shaped wall as you enter my house to one side it is angled and I have thought of using a feature paper on the angled wall as interest, after your comment I am going to definitely do it as I think it is great to add something that brings a smile to someones face when they enter a home.
DeleteOh my gosh, those walls are crazy! Just like a cave! It's kinda of amazing with the light bouncing all around. I love the floors and that fireplace... and the painting in the living room really works!

Thanks for your comment Cindy, I find the bedrooms fascinating. The fireplace is very typical of Scandinavian style, I have never seen them in this part of the world.
