Continuing with part three of Auckland interior designer, Irene Crean's French Provencal home. This post features the fabulous French style kitchen, dining and stunning outdoor patio complete with fireplace.
If you missed part one and two, I have added links at the end of this post, however you may want to hop over and read more about Irene's home first. For this post I have decided to simply share the photos with a brief description as they really speak for themselves.
Above: An antique French day bed sits in a room off the upstairs hallway, perfect for relaxing with a book
Above: Little surprises everywhere
Above: Downstairs entryway to the kitchen
Above and below: The French Provencal style Kitchen has lime washed oak doors. The beams on the ceiling have been distressed and washed to appear as if they are very old. The industrial style lighting and bar stools compliment the style of decor. Irene has a talent for selecting exactly the right pieces
Above and below: Produce from Irene's garden
Above and below; The dining area lies adjacent to the kitchen and opens out onto a fabulous patio
Above and below; French doors to a small sitting room and the dining/kitchen lead to a fabulous paved patio which has views that stretch as far as the Auckland Domain
Next week I will reveal the final photos of Irene's home, a fabulous downstairs area that opens out to a patio, pool and an unusual and delightful water feature. If you missed part's one and two, please visit these posts using the links below;
