I love Christmas, not only for its sentiments but as an artist with a passion for interior design, I can let my creative side free. I usually decorate my interior, exterior, tables, food and mantel, and more often than not, fall short of time to have it finished by Christmas. This week I've been drawing on inspiration around the blogasphere and have found some gorgeous interiors, lovely recipes and some fun ideas to inspire myself and my readers...

Oh how I love Christmas! So many pretty images you've found. I really like the simplicity of picture 2 - layers of white with touches of gold. x
ReplyDeleteThank you for dropping by Vic, I agree Christmas is such a wonderful time to share with family and friends. Yesterday I had a lunch for two close friends. It was a time for me to be able to decorate the table and make it special for my friends. I used my mums vintage china and other items and dressed up my outdoor table as it was such a beautiful sunny day in Auckland. We had a great afternoon, the girls loved it and commented on the Christmas decorations in the house. One friend said it looked like something out of "House and Garden", which made me feel good...I must get cracking and get some more images up on the blog.

These are such beautiful ideas. I love that first room. Flocked trees are my favorite, and that simple little decor touch with the apothecary jars filled with white candy is so pretty...

Thank you Cindy for your comment, I love those apothecary jars too and thought what a great idea at Christmas time. I am going to put some on my kitchen island, I wonder how long they will stay full though with people popping in and out over the holidays :)

Thank you for visiting Deserae, your living room is stunning, I will change the link from Pinterest to your blog. Originally I tried to track it back on Pinterest but it just led to an image and not a website. This is the problem when re-pinning on Pinterest.
DeleteI am glad you found your image and most definitely will visit your website and pop your link in now.
Thank you for your comment.
Lee :)
It is all just lovely! You will be one of the features at Make it Pretty Monday party at The Dedicated House. Pop on in and grab a feature button. Hope to see your prettiness again at the party. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse
ReplyDeleteThank you Kathryn and thank you for featuring me this week. I have linked back to your site at the bottom of my post and I will make a mention when I post again. I don't however use "I've featured" buttons, solely because I try to keep my side bar as free as I can, I hope you understand :)
